Adeland Schools is an independent preparatory school in the heart of Selewu, Igbogbo, for children aged 1 – 11 years. Explore our school Pre-Prep - ages 3 – 7
We recognise the benefits of having the time and space to question, to collaborate and to explore the experiences that underpin lifelong learning.
In Nursery and Reception the curriculum incorporates communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, physical development, mathematics, literacy, expressive arts and understanding the world.
In Years 1 and 2 the curriculum becomes more structured and formal with English and mathematics every day. Children also have lessons on science, civic, social studies, computing, PHE and French.
Prep - ages 8 - 11
The Prep department builds on the strong foundations laid down in the Pre-Prep and through the increasing use of specialist teachers, children are encouraged to develop their skills and passions.
Confidence is built through participation in class and music assemblies, school productions, concerts, ensembles, team events and competitions.
In Years 5 and 6, the children have further specialist teaching in mathematics, English and the humanities, as they build towards the 11+ assessment process.
Affordability
The cost of sending your child to a private school is something that most parents worry about. Here at Adeland Schools, we understand that parents want flexibility in the way they pay their fees. There are a range of options available to parents, such as spreading the costs termly or if you would like even greater flexibility, monthly through the School Fee Plan.
